Certifications & Ongoing Training
My approach to vocal coaching is grounded in both science-based technique and a deep respect for the personal nature of the voice.
I’ve trained in evidence-based vocal methods, performance psychology, and inclusive voice work to support singers not just technically, but as whole people. For me, learning isn’t about collecting certifications—it’s about creating a space where you can explore your voice safely, build trust in it, and grow with confidence.
Each of the trainings below shapes how I guide singers through technique, self-expression, and the emotional side of using their voice.
🎓
Modern Vocal Training
Level 2 Certification
(April 2026 – March 2027)
I’m currently continuing my training with Modern Vocal Training Level 2, deepening my understanding of the voice, vocal technique, and how to work with more complex vocal challenges.
For you, this means I’m not only working with foundational technique, but also expanding how I support different voices, vocal habits, and artistic goals. This includes more advanced exercises, working with experienced singers, and refining how I guide you through subtle adjustments in your voice.
As I move through this training, I’m continuously integrating what I learn into my sessions—so you benefit from up-to-date knowledge, more precise guidance, and a coaching approach that keeps evolving with you.

🎓

Modern Vocal Training
Level 1 Certification
Modern Vocal Training is one of the most science-based and safe approaches to working with the voice.
For you, this means we’re not guessing or relying on vague advice. You’ll learn how your voice actually works and how to develop it step by step—whether that’s building range, navigating breaks, or gaining more control.
At the same time, we don’t lose the artistic side. Technique becomes a tool that helps you express yourself more freely, not something that restricts you.

Empowered Singing: Gender-Affirming Singing Voice Training
This training allows me to support trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse singers in a way that respects both the voice and the person behind it.
For you, this means we don’t try to force your voice into a fixed idea of how it “should” sound. Instead, we explore pitch, resonance, and vocal expression in a way that aligns with your identity and feels right in your body.
You can expect a space where your voice is not judged, corrected into something else, or treated as a problem—but supported as something that can evolve in a way that feels authentic to you.

Mitigating MPA Within the Teaching Studio: Theories and Practical Strategies
This training focused on understanding what happens when anxiety shows up in singing—and how to work with it, not against it.
For you, this means your nerves, fear, or hesitation won’t be treated as something you need to “fix” before you can sing. Instead, we create a learning space where those reactions are understood and gradually become more manageable.
You’ll be able to make mistakes, try things out, and build confidence without feeling overwhelmed or judged.

The Singers Program – Stage 1 Certification (Modern Vocal Training)
This certification gave me a strong foundation in vocal technique, music theory, ear training, and performance.
For you, this means I can guide you clearly through what we’re doing and why. You won’t just be asked to “try something”—you’ll understand what’s happening in your voice and how to work with it.
It also allows me to adapt to where you are: whether you’re just starting out, feeling stuck, or looking to deepen your skills, we can build a structured path that still feels flexible and personal.

The Pedagogy Of Vibrato: Integrating Science And Studio Practice
This course deepened my understanding of vibrato as something that develops naturally in the voice, rather than something that should be forced or controlled.
For you, this means we won’t chase a “perfect” sound. Instead, we work with your voice as it is—helping you understand your vibrato, feel more in control of it, and allow it to become more flexible and expressive over time.
Whether you feel like your vibrato is unstable, too wide, too straight, or not there yet, we approach it in a way that supports your voice instead of putting pressure on it.

The Cannabis Question: What Voice Practitioners Need To Know
This training gave me a clearer, research-based understanding of how cannabis can affect the voice and vocal health.
For you, this means you don’t have to worry about being judged or given rigid rules around your lifestyle. Instead, we can have open, honest conversations about anything that might impact your voice—based on real information, not assumptions or fear.
I learned how different forms of cannabis use can influence the vocal folds, breath coordination, and overall vocal function, as well as how factors like anxiety, pain management, and individual habits play a role.
This helps me support you in making informed decisions about your voice, while still respecting your personal choices and circumstances.
